This is a demonstration site
Woodside Water & Fire Restoration, LLC does not exist. It was invented to demonstrate a website designed, built, deployed and hosted through MaiaHost. The firm, its staff, their histories, its premises, its prices and its work are all fabricated. Every telephone number is the placeholder 000-000-0000, and both licence numbers are placeholders for the same reason: a New York City Home Improvement Contractor licence and a New York State mould remediation licence are public records identifying real people and real companies.
No message sent through this site reaches a restoration contractor. No telephone number here reaches anybody. No price quoted here is an offer, and no work described here is available for purchase.
Nothing here is professional advice
The pages on this site describe how water, fire and mould restoration work is approached in general terms, in a fictional voice. They are not an inspection of your building, they are not a recommendation about your property, and they must not be relied on in place of a qualified person looking at what you actually have.
Nothing on this site is medical advice, legal advice, or advice about your insurance policy. In particular, no page here says anything about what mould, smoke or contamination does to anybody's health — that is a question for a physician — and no page here tells you what your insurer will pay, which is decided by your policy and your insurer's adjuster.
This site deliberately contains no instructions for carrying out remediation unaided. If you can smell gas or smoke, or there is any question about the structure of a building, leave and ring 911. If there is standing water anywhere near live electrical equipment, the power comes off from a point outside the water before anybody steps into it.
What the prices are
The figures published across this site are illustrative ranges for a fictional business, written to demonstrate what honest price presentation looks like. They are not quotations, they are not offers, and they should not be used as a benchmark for what work costs where you live.
Accuracy
Descriptions of licensing, permits, statutes and remediation practices — including New York Labor Law Article 32, the public adjuster licensing rules administered by the Department of Financial Services, the asbestos investigation required before a New York City permit in a pre-1987 building, and the federal Renovation, Repair and Painting rule — were written to be accurate at the time of writing and are necessarily general. Requirements change and vary by jurisdiction. Nothing here overrides what a licensed professional, an inspector or an authority having jurisdiction tells you about your own building.
